    They get off weekends, most all holidays and 3 months during the summer.
    They work pretty half half the year and earn what they do. That's a big difference vs us OTR drivers

    They also invested 4 years and 60K getting a college degree. If how hard you have to work determines who makes more money migrant field hands picking produce should make more than truckers. Same logic you are using.

    I'm not discounting that.
    All i was pointing out was truck driver pay has NOT gone up with inflation like other fields.
    Just used whole teacher thing as an example.
