Schneider has a strict no cell use while driving. Hands free or not.

    note, this is policy.
I'm told we are the captains of our respective ships. Some say DOT has no issue with bluetooth.

The guy from Schneider was directly ask about what he was talking about with the Bluetooth policy and he didn't mention anything about a no cell use policy. If that's the case gonna be a lot of unhappy drivers over here. I like to be able to answer my wife when she calls so she knows I'm ok and I know she and my son are ok. And I think most any driver is the same way.

100% no cell phone "policy" there's even some drivers I would argue that might turn you in for bending said policy. Now I talk to myself so I'm good until they Ban that too.

I've often wondered about this. They told us they did back in orientation, but to be honest, I know that it is not necessarily the case.

And that's all I got to say about that ;)

Some dbls will call you expecting you to answer. KNOWING you are driving. And they arent suggesting you pull over either.

Every time you give your driver number and they type it in it pulls up your info including truck info whether they "check " it out thoroughly or not is anyone's guess.

5 will get you 10 if your lucky....

yeah, these days, with my new DBL turned ICA, there is no way I am picking up that phone. In the past, I never would have worried about it.
