That's like being told to store your guns at the state armory. Instead of being common sense.

those of you that concerned with "privacy" rights are jaded. if you think much of what you do now is private...ha. also if you are violating company phone use policies and do not have at least one burner phone - you're silly.

Aside from complying with fed regs on hands free, my company has no policy.

My phone my money my say... Not even law enforcement can go searching my phone and phone records without a warrant from a court... Sure as hell won't be no #### Trucking Company going to sit there and violate that...

It's amazing as much money as Walmart has that they won't go out and get company phones for there employees in the transportation side... but then again Walmart has a history of trying to be slick and go around the laws...

And I can say this when I ran Walmart dedicated down in the Houston area a few years back I talked to a lot of Walmart company drivers who are senior drivers been there ten years or more and they all said the new management at Walmart pretty much craps on the drivers and it's nothing like it used to be and for all intents and purposes are trying to run the old guys out and bring the new ones in who are gullible

I'm sure they feel that might be encouraging bad behavior. And I go many weeks without talking them on the phone. Im either in the office, or Qualcomm, most times there is no need to call

If driving and talking on a hands free device is against company policy, better ban people from talking to their co drivers or passengers as well. While they're at it, why not remove radios and CBs. Then they can put driver facing cameras and tell us no eating or drinking while driving.

As a nation we seem to be content with things being taken away a little at a time. The line is drawn in sand and is being constantly kicked out and redrawn and most of us seem to be OK with that.

Tomorrow morning I will go to work knowing what the rules are and what the penalty is for violating them. I make that choice freely.

Not one person has advocated using the phone while driving. Not one. The issue is whether the company should be looking at a driver's phone.

I never talk or text while driving. However, no trucking company puke is going to look at my phone. Period.

You keep on doing the Eddie Haskell routine. Maybe one day they'll nominate you for Driver-of-the-Month.
