Not all DOT drivers have to break freight, its only if you are delivery. We also run transfer and team drivers who move our freight between DC and turn locations.
Assigned equipment, home a minimum of weekly, all live loads so no trailer hunting. Great place to work

I'm in my second week of classroom training now, next week I head out with my trainer..so far everyone has been great to work with. It's been a very positive experience.

Delivered to a couple DOT Food places. What I thought was interesting at the one I delivered to in NY off 90 was on the wall they had posted a chart of their drivers transgressions. Mostly or all speeding tickets with name or truck #, date, speed limit, amount over, location, ect.......

Not sure if they were trying to shame the drivers or give everybody a heads up on speed traps. There was a spot near Buffalo that appeared to be popular.

Its internal speed tracking, not tickets. You are allowed 10 over on highways, 7 over on city streets. Multiple violations result in discipline, trucks are governed at 68. Maintaining the appropriate speed for the jurisdiction is your responsibility, but a ticket will cost you your safety bonus
xlsdraw Thanks this.
