Looking for trucking position with friendly, honest good people, great dispatchers that care about their drivers, reliable trucks, good benefits and pay.
I presently make .41 cents per mile with good benefits driving flatbed for two years now, but looking to move on for more experience and pay. I do not have Car Hauler experience but willing to learn. I heard Toyota Car haulers make good money. Any info on this, or other companies in Northern California flatbedding or other that pay well. I would like to get home once per week. I live up North of Red Bluff,CA.![]()

I find it hard to belive that you will get another job paying more than .41 cpm with good bennies and still get miles that you need.

I would stay with that .41 a mile job. You are going to be very hard pressed to find a flat job that pays more and car hauling is tough to break into without prior experience. Not many places will train for car hauling.

I am pretty sure Waggoners will train you to haul cars. If you're interested in local car-hauling, you can try Allied Auto Group. They pay pretty decent, but again, it's local work. Google either company- they both have websites.
Like someone else mentioned it is tough to get into car hauling without experience, but if you are willing to pay your dues and take a little bit of a pay-cut (not much!) to gain the experience, it may be worth it. -
Hah Douger, I'm up in Redding. Not too many from our neck of the woods. Who are you driving for now?
