Ya, I don't know if it's true either, it's been a long time ago but boy the rumours were strong, wish someone from Jersey that was around back in the day would come on here and give some input.

So whats the warning about? Are you saying your a danger? Or are you trying to be professional. So here is a warning for you, You have just graduated into the 95 percentile that you will have a bad deal in the first 6 months in this career if you even last that long. With endorsements even worse. Its not a game out here on the road its really not

While what earlybird says is likely true, you never know until you get out there and see for yourself. There is always a chance that you can get lucky.

Sheesh, what a grouch. :p Give the kid the benefit of the doubt. Some folks really do make it. Even if they do have a bad deal at first.

Here's a question why wouldn't u want to get some Otr experience first that will open a lot of doors for you...companies frown on lack of experience especially when u just coming out of school...

OK, OK, OK, someone needs to chill a bit. Don't take life too serious (no one ever made it out alive).:D
the emoji at the end of the sentence is a dead giveaway, it was just a fun way of announcing that I now got a license.
Please don't make posts assuming I'm some 25 year old kid, who got to drive a truck for the first time (don't call me kid).
I'll just leave it with that

You can probably get on with Southeastern Freight Lines in Orlando. They're not OTR.

Might get a box truck job with Twiss Transport or Florida Beauty Express; they do local stuff. Pay probably isn't too good, but not sure. Twiss hired a guy right out of cdl school for box truck.

TransForce is a good idea; test the waters with several companies. Some companies will buy your contract from those temp services if you prove yourself to be a valuable asset to the company and want to stay there.
