    It wasnt the prostar with the issues, it was the maxxforce engine that came with some prostars a few years back that had problems.

    Cummins equipped prostars are good trucks ...had 3 of of em and very comfortable trucks .
    Maxxfarse powered a whole different ball game .

    True that, bzinger, but the emissions on ProStar trucks are frequently a problem. An expensive problem. You're right about the ISX and 13spd Eaton -Fuller, and they are comfortable, well set up for a driver. Kinda hard to have any faith in their long term running, that's why they sell low.
