Anybody ever have operations call you on your private cell phone while you're driving and then not ask if you're driving? Sure sign somebody screwed up. I got the load assignment with a huge window but it should have had an appointment time because the plant was running out of the material, and without it the whole plant would shut down. As luck would have I was in the mood to use most of the window. When I realized what was going on I asked if they could send me the message on the Qualcomm. He said the phone call was fine. haha Got it there with 10 minutes to spare. Still waiting for the thank you note.

 

I drug myself out of bed about noon today, (reset day) and caught the last 10 laps of the race, heck of a burnout Joey did. I'm glad he could finally win,

I asked for a national load this morning and told them I had a fresh 70, an hour later a load from PA all the way to Indiana, 75 mile deadhead, 60 miles of it on small roads and the 520 miles loaded, and it has to deliver today, ugh
Not a chance since the log update change thing.
I told them I'd drop tomorrow and accepted it, wmt

 

Walmart drops don't have the 3 day window anymore FYI. Day of only, just like Target now.
