That's is true. Kinda you kind@ have to you d them from what I'm told. I was first pick and got a real good truck out the door so I never had to deal with it. Honestly most are pretty good.

If I get a run from Florida to California with two days extra on the load, should I 41 immediately with an eta to the Fort Worth Yard, Phoenix Yard, San B Yard or do a 34? A simple question. I'm doing a 34 simply because my hours are coming back 5, 8, with currently maxed hours and I Feel it's more efficient to do a 34 then to sit for 20 hours waiting on 5 hours.

This is only an example. I kind of need to do this so I can get back to El Paso and see if I can get my APU looked at AGAIN for overheating issues. It seems like the problem is elusive and intermittent based on the summer heat.

I wish the planner would assume I want to make money and run me any way that does that.

I would send the 41 with each eta if I wanted to run. I tend to run run run. I get shop work on my Home time.

That's what I wanted to hear. So 41's are a HUGE part of the success stories at JCT. I've used them so rarely and my paychecks show that. 5 to 7 a week.

Now, an APU is FUNDAMENTAL to my life on the road. Without it, no computer, no TV, NOTHING. Not to mention idling cost. My APU breaking down is equivalent to my engine blowing up as far as I'm concerned.

    Thanks for the response.

And, I'm feeling really stupid right now because I honestly never thought about doing that with an eta to each location. I have this tendency to miss some things that seem obvious to others but I'm an idiot savant when it comes to seeing subtle things.

I also love to run hard...for two and a half weeks max, then a 34, then two and half weeks, then home time 7 days. That's the perfect set up for me.

Last time my apu went out i was at our yard in tolleson. I checked it in while I did my 10 they let me sleep in it until they were ready then I was back on the road.

I'm not saying our problems are similar but when my carrier started to overheating it was the start of more problems. Turned out the main link belt had stretched and needed some links taken out. In other words the belt was loose.
It's a real piece of crap belt. As is the rest of the comfort pro, mines been in the shop 3 times over the last month. Killing me at 3100 hundred hours. Makes me wonder if at 6000 it'll even be useable....

    No. If I recall correctly.

However, there are a couple of streets in the area that allow parking. Also, just a few exits south (22?) is the ARCO travel plaza.
