are there student loans for trucking?

Oh yeah there are. My dad had one. But i believe they are only given if your course is taken at a college or public school

 

Ask the school itself (they want as many students as possible) or gov't careers office.

 

Check and see if Roadmaster has a program like that.

 

There are many of them, but, be aware that student loans are expensive and don't go away until they are repaid. If you don't like trucking you will still be on the hook for those loans.

https://fafsa.ed.gov/ this is where I got my loan yrs ago.At that time interest was very low and they work with you on monthly payments depending on your income.

 

My wife and I went Roadmaster, they have several lending companies they work with. My son and his wife lost there job when the plant they worked at closed. They went to the unemployment office and the state paid for them to go to driving school. This was in Alabama.
