You can look at the Crete jobs website now and see what is posted in Texas. They have a terminal in Wilmer.

TMC and Melton used to, I assume they still do. Amarillo is not ideal, though. You'll have a few more options once you get a year's experience. A few nationwide outfits have relay switching yards in and near Amarillo on 40 but I can't recall who they are exactly and if any of them hire new drivers.
