Let me say this, you get a number of B train dumps. Hows that for you? And you get to do battle in winter. Edit- I meant the Chooked rocky mountain double dump sorry. Forgot that B trains stay in Toledo and MI.

Since you do not know the business at the moment I would start with a tractor and belly dump. More versatile that way. If the dirt work is not busy you can throw it under another trailer. Can't do that with a dump truck.

 

Couldn't tell you the last time a saw a belly dump in Ohio. That's why I was asking where exactly he was, in my part of central Ohio you better off with a dump truck than a tractor trailer. Most job sites won't take tractor trailers, About the only thing tractor trailers do is run stock to concrete and asphalt plant's. Around here if you haul stone in a tractor trailer they pay less per ton than they do for a straight dump truck. That being said we use dump truck every single day as well as run 6 of our own, I've never seen a more cut throat business in my life. You run your rear end off to make very little money, plus in the winter the more established (or cut throat) trucks run and he rest set. You couldn't give me a dump truck.

 

Isn't Stocker located in Gnadenhutten? Seems like I see their trucks EVERYWHERE, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's lucrative.
