If you plan to haul any new cars you'll need the kind of decking with holes in it like a cottrell. Most manufacturers require over the tread wheel straps , not the basket or web style. Anyhow best of luck.

how can i make them better tho and the tag lays down when i take that lock off to pull out ramps. i want to put expanded metal on ramps and trailer to help slipping. add more angle on the ramps so its not so far apart

Yes. You are operating a combination with a weight rating over 26k lbs so you will need a class A to pull it empty even.

Also on your ramps, they are upside down(we are not looking at the side you are supposed to drive on). If they are setup to be used the way we are looking at them now then you need to cut the angle iron off and reweld it the other direction. You won't need any expanded metal although it may not hurt to put some on the rear of the trailer where it meets the ramp. Possibly on the top of the ramp too

Buy some 8'-10' aluminum ramps & ditch those steel skids. You will thank me the first time you have to load a car that has a longer front end. Not necessarily low, just long enough to scrape/push those steel skids. By the time you back off, you will have cracked the plastic bumper on the car. Have watched it happen a lot over the years.

thats the way they are made. i was going to put more angle in-between there the opposite way as your saying and put expanded metal. And i figured i have to bc of the tags i have are rated for more then 26. thanks

LBZ is right just buy some long aluminum ramps and be done with it. Have seen many wedge guys scraping bumpers up with those short steel ramps

Pretty sure they sell 10, 12 & 14 ft. I'd buy as long as you can fit in your holder.
