Aeolus tires

I hated mine. Lousy fuel mileage, I gained over half a mile per gallon when I switched to low rolling resistance Firestones. The Aeolus also seemed to have very low puncture resistance. Seemed like I was always picking up something.

I tried them for a while. Flimsy sidewalls high rolling resistance and easy to puncture. Never again

We had put them on our dry van trailer and had a average run with them. Based on others comments we got lucky.

 

Chinese garbage.

I got barely 60,000 mi from a set of trailer tires before they were pitted and coming apart so bad they needed to be replaced.

When it comes down to tires, you get what you pay for.

If you pay less for Made in China Garbage, you're going to get the same return investment.

IMO, and from Real World personal experience, I buy Bridgestone for Drives and Michelin or Bridgestone for Steers.

Sure I pay more, but those Brands have paid for themselves in the long run.

Do your research.

 

International 9400i: I put a set on my steer axle about 3 years ago. They wouldn't balance for love or money. They were moved to trailer and are wearing all kinds of ways. A year and a half ago, I put a set of 8 on my drives and I liked them there. 125,000 miles and the are still better than 50% left. I will try a set on my Volvo in a couple months.
