I had a dealer bounce a check recently, he was apologetic and sent me a new one for $50 more than the original. Let us know how they handle it

They just called. They were super apologetic and offered to pay the fees before we asked. I had to ask if they would be able to do direct deposit, ach, or some sort of certified funds. They said no. We shall see after the holiday how this goes.

Just another casualty of the lower rate phenomenon United road underbid cause they know someone will haul Carmax for less and still profit.

Auto transport has always paid us on time as recent as two weeks ago. I don't know how much bussiness they lost to rebid contracts but it looks like United road underbid and rates drop further.
Autotransport.com was paying me $1800 3 months ago that is now paying $1060. Go figure . -
They said they lost 50000 vehicles a year to URS. They said they are now number 2 and URS is 1. A crappy number 1 at that

I still think autotransport.com will pay everyone. Unfortunately this transition has probably has affected Carmax payments to them.

This is an email from them.
"Hello, I apologize for the your delay in payment, we are currently going through an issue with carmax, they actually owe us quite a large sum of money. We did not realize we hadn’t been paid until we started getting calls and emails about checks bouncing on our transporters, because of this we unfortunately are having to hold onto all transporters checks until this issue is resolved. We do not want to send you a bad check. We are hoping to send out all Transporters checks that are past due as soon as we receive the funds owed to us by carmax. We are hoping to have this all resolved by the end of the month, but we are at the mercy of carmax at this point. Again, I do apologize for this.
