Ok... News to me, I think. I will need to go back and look more closely now. Ugh.

Yeah, it's a pretty simple thing to follow up on any given situation to keep things moving. I can't count how many times I was able to keep the freight flowing and my wheels turning by doing so. Hey, call me greedy ... lol

    Greedy!!!

Besides, I guess I am a control freak or something but I would actually prefer to give and get the info first hand. Besides, unless it's drastically different, it's one less thing for someone else to do. And I am the first to know.

Hey, call me a control freak... lol

From what I've been reading here, it would seem they're changing a few things as well as some positions in the office? Perhaps they need a little extra input until they get through it? Starting to sound like WS where we had to write down pert near everything on our trip packs. Stops, layover, breakdown, detention, routes and miles in each state. It was crazy redundant.

Ok, so I'm hitting a Detention Issue too.

    Last pay period, I had a load going from Omega, GA to Jessup, MD... {you probably heard me comment about it... lol}

On the front end I waited 6 hours to get loaded and another 5 hours on the back side. 11 total hours. So I submitted via QC Macro a request for 4 hours and 3 hours accounting for the 2 hour normal window X two.

Settlement Sheet came... No detention pay.
Guess I should have written in on the cover.
    LOL

Emailed my FM to check into it.
I need to start watching that closer.

But... On the happy side of trucking...

I had a couple good days yesterday and today with a load from SC to the far reaches of western TN... And returned today.

I will drop first thing in the morning and then grab another preloaded trailer and head off for Massachusetts for a drop due first thing Monday morning...

And just enough to time to swing by the house for a day before rolling north... And I will miss most of I95 until I hit NYC... So that should be a good drive.

Only bad thing, and not really "bad" at all but it's 850+ miles so I can't make it in one drive session... So I guess I will pull out Saturday at some point and log a few miles and then take a ten and finish up on Sunday.

All in all... It's been a good week. :)

    JohnBoy and chralb Thank this.

You know how it is @MidWest_MacDaddy. You ask 3 different office personnel, and get 3 different answers. When we first started using the fuel cards to pay for scales, I called and spoke to Dennis and that's what he told me. I'm sure if I asked him today it'd be a different answer. I noticed that @JohnBoy said he sends in a "load acceptance" macro message on a load. I, in my 2 years plus time here, have never used that macro. I looked at it as it was all forced dispatch so I didn't think that I needed to send it. I guess we all do it a little different. But please if you found out anything useful, spill it, and let me know.
