If I'm putting diesel or super on the truck I can load with 5 arms and be done in less than 15 minutes. Otherwise I usually load with 4. At other racks I usually only use 2.

At all of our local racks, they prohibit flood loading. But the only one we can feasibly do this at, is at Tesoro. And at that particular rack, the operator himself struts around in a pair of basketball shorts and sunglasses (No PPE) and doesn't lock anybody out for anything. So I've flood loaded before and got off the rack in like 11 minutes. I can only see this being possible if the products are both gas and diesel, otherwise there's not enough arms to put on all compartments. It is pretty spectacular to flood load an entire truck however, you load every single compartment at about 670GPM... real fast.

My least favorite rack has only one arm in front and one arm in back, and they load at like 400GPM. Takes 45 minutes to load. Obviously no flood loading at that one.

Welp, got my first speeding ticket in my life today by the city's finest. Tagged me doing 66 in a 55. It was a pretty dirty trap though to be honest. We have a small turnpike system that connects the interstate to the south side of my city so everyone doesn't have to go through downtown. It is about 13-15mi total with exits throughout the city. The majority of the way is posted 65mph, but the last few miles it drops to 55mph. No one follows it though. Cars and trucks whip past me doing 70+ down the whole stretch. There were two city cops in the median coming down off a hill so no one could see them. I did not care, because I have personally never had any issues on that system. Right after I pass them I see one of the cops peel out and come behind me. I thought it was kind of weird, but still didn't consider that he was gonna tag me for speeding. Grandpa Joe was ahead of me doing 45mph so I jumped in the left lane to pass him, and also to see if the copper was going to follow me. Sure enough the second I make it over he lights me up.

He asks me if I knew why he was pulling me over. I told him "not really ..." cause I still had my doubts it was for speed. Then he says "You were doing 66mph and we are in a 55mph zone, that's a little too fast when you have that behind you (pointing at my bomb)". I told him "Man, you know people fly 70+ through here all day, every day". He says "I do know, but your still getting the ticket".

So now this lamer just smudged up my perfect MVR. I admit I've been pretty lucky up to this point. Had a lot of warnings that could have been ezpz tickets. And also where I was just lucky that no cops were around hiding in bushes. But this guy finally nailed me. And the most frustrating part is that I really don't feel I was in the wrong. So now I get throw away some greens on a traffic attorney. See what I can make out of this situation ...

We do have one like that. Lanes have 1 Regular, 1 Blender, 1 Premium and 1 Diesel. Couldn't tell you the exact GPM, but it's probably just a little over 400. And every arm in every lane will leak, and usually at least 1 of the arms in each lane will leak as much fuel as it's loading into your tank. So then you get to spend another couple minutes washing down your lane after loading.

Hey dude get a lawyer. I got popped for 65 in san Diego and the lawyer got it dismissed. They will either take the points off and give you some other fine, or just dismiss it.

Saw a Kenan driver pulled over early this morning in the same area, maybe a mile down the stretch from where I got ticketed. I'm for sure getting a lawyer and taking it to court. Had some office people tell me it wouldn't be worth it, but I would regret it later if I didn't fight it. Plus hearing that you got it dismissed in cali gives me hope haha. It just frustrates me how dirty that trick is. Taking advantage of the fact that they never govern that area and they know the flow of traffic is way above the posted speed limit. And the fact that if he would've waited just a couple minutes I guarantee you he would have flagged a car going much faster. But nah, let's just mess with the dude trying to make a couple bucks and get back to the house.

Anyways, hope everyone had a good fourth!

You might end up paying more (lawyer fee plus whatever alternate fine is negotiated) but your MVR will stay clean. So it's def worth it.

And my 4th was awesome, I only worked 7 hours, was off by 9pm, and still got our flat rate holiday pay bonus.

You were doing 66 in a 55mph zone. So how exactly do you not feel you were in the wrong? Just because everyone else is doing it does not make it right.

I'm looking for the name of the company that hauls fuel in western Montana. Yellow Petes pulling doubles. Thanks.
Also, if anybody that has info about how they are to work for it would be greatly appreciated.

Well, yes legally I am in the wrong 100%. But I don't feel like I was in the wrong for going with the flow of traffic. At the same time, I know the cops were just trying to get some revenue, and they picked a very good spot to set up at.
