Was once in Boston and once in Virginia. The last weeks I was running around the clock tower (that's how I feel when I don't have 1000+ miles loads).
And I go everywhere where they send me, would go to Alaska
Don't know what's going on, met one driver in Denver who had his truck cleaned out and brought her back to Omaha. Talked with a few other drivers and all sit too much. For me not a good sign.
I really like the company, but if I don't get the miles...
When I started I was told 2800-3000+ miles per week when I'm out for three weeks and this does not happen in the moment
Hope it will improve over the next weeks, will need two surgeries (just a few days off, using my home time) and have to pay these extra bills.

Miles have improved significantly! Since I left my home on May 2nd, I made 8600+ miles till Thursday, resetting my hours now and got a load to Cali and then home, that will be 10000+ miles in three weeks! That's how I like to run

Made 3500+ miles in 120.5 hours and had 8 hrs left on my 70 when I was back on the yard.
We got some new customers and freight lanes, it was good to be patient...
tallinthesaddle4life and rocknroll81 Thank this. -
Finally, that sounds like a good deal. Still planning a trip out to Jarrod to say Howdy.

Just an update, had two cataract surgeries, one end of April, the other end of May. The company got me home on time and I had 6.5 days off in April and 7.5 days off in May for the surgeries. Had another post-op appointment in June and another 5.5 days off. With all these days off I still made 10000+ miles in May and in June. I must say thank you to the dispatch that everything worked out so good. Will move this month from Nevada to New Mexico and will have another 8 days off for my move. I'm on the way to Cali right now and work on the holiday.
Just heard last week that we get more freight lanes and this will improve our miles in future.
Wish you all a happy 4th!

I'm glad to see that dispatch worked with you with your surgeries, enjoy the holiday.

Is Earl still there?

I'm not so often on the yard and haven't seen him for a while, but his truck is parked on his spot as always, so he should still be there.

Another 3600+ miles in the books for seven days. Had a slow Tuesday with 2 drops in Northern California that cost me 9.5 hours for unloading , but still get loaded the same day 5 miles from my last drop.
Just resetting my hours as I was running on recaps the whole week. Next week will be a bit slower as I have to be in Denver on Friday to drop the truck in our drop yard, my flight home to Las Vegas NV is leaving on Saturday morning and I will move the following week, come back to Denver with a rental car as it is only 340 miles away.
I'm glad when everything is done, after the surgeries and the move to be back on a normal schedule. -
That's good that you have been busy, moving is a chore in it's self, be safe.

I'm very experienced in moving

About 15 times in Germany, then from Germany to Canada, within Canada from the East to the West (my longest move by car and trailer), from Canada to Texas, then to Las Vegas NV and Pahrump NV.
And now again Las Vegas, but Las Vegas New Mexico
I'm glad that I can stay with the company as NM is not really in their hiring area. NV wasn't too
I think I'm the only driver from NV and will be the only driver in NM.
