Freight is soft, so i could have rode with another driver in a rental from Knoxville to home(8 hours), leave the 12th, drive or ride back to Knoxville or wait for freight to get me home.
I'll wait. So I'll be home tomorrow night, deliver a load on Tuesday and then back home for a reset.91B20H8 Thanks this. -
My genius ICA will bump our NAT's out 24 hours with no notification once they are about to expire. Doesn't matter that you are looking for loads, and just nothing worth taking, or sometimes nothing to take (remember the El Paso thread...).

Percival, IA (Sapp Bros). $15.00 for a shower here..... Was going to shower at the TA in Council Bluffs, after having to BT over to the yard there for an MT from Waverly (TSC). 4 open spots while I was fueling up, all taken by the time my thirsty truck got full.

No preassignment. routed to Gary for the extra miles from North Chicago (Mundelien) and for amenities like free wifi. plus layover pay. they set my nat for 0800.

Pilot at 213B on 81 in VA. This was originally going to be a pit stop on the way to the 81/77 plethora of parking, but a Crete truck that broke down on the single lane section in PA at mm 102 and then whatever accident that shut down 81 around exit 20 in PA.. That killed my clock. So. Whatever. I'm still going to be early for appt tomorrow, just have to drive further. And I'm pretty sure that after I get unloaded tomorrow in Charlotte I'll be going to the OC for the Pm b that's past due by 6k miles. So.. I had a very enjoyable time off on the interstate waiting for the Crete to get moved and it was interesting seeing the red detour.
Btw. If anyone else got stuck in that backup on 81s this morning. The Crete guy that caused the backup is the biggest piece of #### that's ever lived. His right trailer tandem locked up and he got 95% out of the way and then refused to either move his truck further (he would have had to drag his back right tandem axle on the gravel 10 feet) or get help from all the truck drivers that were offering to help fix it. Instead he kept telling everyone to get away from his truck and we all sat there for almost two hours. Here's a mediocre picture of him from next to my truck.Attached Files:
