He is second generation trucking with rigs from Wy..
-
Yup. Lol. My current employer happens to be on that friend list.

I didn't haul much around rock Springs unless it was working for jones, or hotshot work.
-
Not to my knowledge. You said it, Tracy brokered to his friends, and that's where a majority of my rig move experience came from. Worked with their rifle crew alot. Short infield moves only requiring a few "slick" trucks and we were their. It was only on the longer stuff that sharp would come into the picture

@Dustyroads38 I know it's a stretch, but do you have any connection to a fellow named Dusty Rhoades that worked in the oil patch near Santa Maria CA in late 60s and 70s?
Dustyroads38 and macavoy Thank this. -
LOL. No. My name is dusty and instead of using "crash38" (old motocross nick name) as my handle, I thought I'd have a little fun with it, since I'm frequently asked if I know "dusty rhodes."
On a side note, I hope I don't get myself into a "guilty by association" situation and have y'all view me as the enemy. I think this forum is pretty stellar, and have nothing but the utmost respect for you old-school heavy haulers. -
The dusty I am referring to was quite a character. I happened to run into his daughter who ran a little mom and pop truckstop on 95 in idaho 9 years ago and her husband had a truck. Just thought I'd check.Dustyroads38 Thanks this.
