In texas i saw a creepy man on the side of the highway wearing liederhosen or some ####. He had this #### grin on his face and looked right at me. It was scary cause it was in the middle of nowhere and dark as hell so I didn't see him till just several feet away

In tn I once stopped my car to pick up a turtle and get it off the road. As soon as I picked it up, it start pissing a river....fortunately I had it's rear end pointing down, so I stayed dry. Never seen a turtle pee before.Lepton1 and johndeere4020 Thank this.

I just started in the trucking industry. I've been to many countries but seen very little of my own country. I was rolling through North Carolina when I spied what I thought was a souped up prairie dog standing upright beside the road. My trainer explained that was a wood chuck. I've seen nutria (beaver-like animals with rat tails) in Louisiana, dead black bear in PA
plenty of Alabama Speed Bumps (Armadillos) down south and of course, Possums.

Desert tortoise, their urine is their cooling system. That's why they say don't pick them up to move them
They lose their urine, they will over heat and die.. learned that in a safety class on a pipeline move I did years ago -
Don't tell that to the Louisiana boys. Working a pipe job once and they were having a good ole fry lunch. On the menu, turttle! Some good eating for all!

Several years ago, CHP stopped a Chinese family somewhere near Barstow, for a simple traffic violation. Got a whole lot more serious when he noticed the tortoise in the car. They are protected, and that one was headed for the soup...
Lepton1 Thanks this. -
The chinks would have been better off stealing a chicken

From what I heard, this was to go into a soup, for a wedding dinner, or something like that...
