Will do. I'm pretty determined, I'm sure someone will respond and accept my application eventually. Thanks about Big Freight, I'll check into them.

Hey. Look at it this way. Everyone started out as a rookie. Some with more experience than others but green none the less. Anyways, let me know what happens. Always like to hear a success story myself.

    Limnor and nate980 Thank this.

Transx would be another one to look at. Drive around where all the yards are or go to a truck stop and start collecting names. I started at one of the worst companies in the lower mainland and slowly got experience to move up. And my abstract isn't clean.

Yeah, I actually worked at TransX before in the office and have very good relations with the whole safety department, so I will be trying there after I'm done my training.

Ya I did. Hauling pipe to northern Alberta. More work than you could shake a stick at but now that we're accepting all of Alberta's refugees shows how slow it is now. Come to think of it I have seen them pulling more of the garbage trailers. I'll be driving by their yard today. See how full it is. Funny, they're old recruiter, who is no longer with them, always wanted me to come back saying they were getting a new contract which would keep em busy. Ain't that just like a recruiter to say?

Curious why you are waiting to finish your training. Apply tell them when your road test is and move forward. I had a driving job before I had my license. Also make sure you have a fast card and or passport and if not apply asap

There isn't a whole lot of parked trucks. I'm on the Vedder side. From what I understand, that pipe work dried up then they laid off / weeded the garden and are purging a bunch of trucks. In particular all of those quad axle trucks. Big Rig's yard has them all. Was talking to a guy that said trash picked up a bit.

Wonder what's going to happen when the landfill closes.
