What part of this posting isn't self explanatory ?
12K or less 40FT or less,: 350 mile radius no cheap rates
Guess how many calls out of a 100 I get that meet these criteria ?
Maybe 1 in a 100
English the langauge brokers don't understand

They don't know what the word cheap means. It's open to interpretation for them, but heaven forbid you try and up the rate whenyou call

Very few brokers read comments. Also you can be posted for loads that deliver to only certain sections of the country and they will be calling you about loads that deliver a 1,000 miles or more beyond those states or zones.
I put a few key comments in my posting to market my truck a little better. As you can scroll through 500 truck postings and 99.9% of them have nothing in the comments. To me that seems as though someone that doesn't really know what they want. And is that the kind of truck you would call on if you were a broker with a decent customer you had to cover?
When I get someone who has actually read the comments I know I'm talking to someone who is serious. They know what they are looking for. And I do too that's why I put comments there. I've been told more than once "I knew when I read that you were more than likely my truck".Last edited: Jul 14, 2016

It's the little things you can do to stand apart from the crowd. And you also take care of business. Doesn't mean they're going to beat your door down or you're going to get rich quick. It does generate a little luck and you need all you can get.

I have the same experience when I know someone has read my posting that I stand a better chance of getting paid a decent rate. I've quit trying to educate the ones who don't read the posting. I generally go through questions like destination and rate then inform them I can't help them. I figure I'm wasting their time so they can't bother someone else and I'm getting a sampling of the desired going rate and if they are negotiable.
I was informed today by one broker that she could get a hotshot all day long for a 1.50 a mile , I asked why she even bothered posting the load then, she should've called her fool carrier and saved the cost of the load board fee. -
