Dump trucks don't stop very well with 24 tons in the box.

 

Raise the dump slowly which you control the pto and move forward slowly as the material is dumping.Construction guys get mad if it's dumped in one big pile.Like a member said watch those power lines,trees act.At the end of your day clean the dump and leave it raisedl till the morning.your company will probably tell you that.Take the turns nice and slow,dump trks and side dumps tip easy.

 

Dump on level firm ground. Drop your air. Oh and the obvious. Make sure your box is down before moving.

 

1) If at all possible, dump on level...flat ground.
2) You've got a higher center of gravity than a lotta vehicles due to your load...take curves and turns slow. I've seen a lot of guys come in hot and roll.
3) Watch for power lines.
4) NEVER be afraid to get out and look....check...ask.
5) NEVER be afraid to move your truck and reposition if you're not comfortable with where you are dumping. I don't care if there's a line of 100 trucks behind you waiting to dump....the line will be longer if you lay it over. Safety first!!
6) Always make sure you're dumping where you're supposed to be

Raise it up before u back up. There not designed to turn when in reverse as they do when going forward.
