We found out how much Heartland pays for local, and for privacy reasons i'd like to not say here, but let's say it's not very good.......

If you need more detail, PM me.....

If you have your own truck I know a guy you can lease onto and make decent money, $1800 to $2000 week, with a 34 in town, but you also need to live in Phoenix or surrounding area, he won't hire outside of Phoenix.
He has company drivers as well. You will run. He's a mad scientist, you will not sit or wait to be reloaded. Everything is strait out and strait back, regional, not home every night.

Saia, OD, Estes, Central all probably give you a shot, all around $20/hr. strait time. Saia pays OT, but rarely will give you above 40 hours. Yellow & ABF were looking for dock worker/ city driver they are teamsters, but that's starting at the bottom of the ladder job. Don't think its full time. Fed Ex is always looking.
Forward Air is looking for O/O for local, it didn't look so good, but I sold my truck, so I didn't look at it that close.
And yes Republic is always hiring, if you don't mind the stench.

Panera bread is not a Tractor Trailer position. It's a non CDL job and you use your own vehicle to make deliveries. If you wanna work in the bakery industry, you have to look for a bakery distribution plant like Bimbo Bakeries, which makes Stroehman bread, Arnold, Thomas's, Sarah Lee, Entehmans, etc. It's a good field if you wanna make good money. Bimbo Bakeries is the largest bakery in the States.

Here's some other bakery jobs in this field........Grocery Haulers, NE Foods (Bakerite, H&S, Schmidt, etc.), Mondelez (Kraft, Nabisco), Bakers Express, Gold Medal, etc.

I dunno, in my area Panera delivers to all their stores in tractor trailers. Mostly 28' but I've seen some 45' as well
