Yeah I get all that but it's not enough to make me fret over when I was on %. Heck if you encounter a road closure and go out of route 20 miles your pay is sliding down as well.

Just bigger fish to fry in this industry IMO...as I said if you a mileage guy being paid off HHG you have a much bigger gripe.

Yeah i would not want to be a Schneider company driver here lol.
Still I can make the decision if a load is worth it or not based on the revenue.
    A company driver is stuck

Holy cow, i was looking my numbers that week it was $ 6872 at 2558 miles in dry van using loadboard. I think prime took 50 percent by double broken to it self.

Dispatchers don't care. They clock in, get their hourly rate or salary and go home. Why should they care what we do or how much we make. Not their problem.

I agree it's a good system but it was a better system before.

East talking about when they had Legacy as well as choice and there were certain drivers that only wanted a legacy and others that definitely should stay on Legacy... He's done both

Only thing that was better when i joined was the loads lol.
They've attempted to improve the system even though i admit i get beat to loads a lot faster now thanks things like load alerts and custom searches.
That screws over someone running a one man show like me.

Once upon a time the 35% Schneider gets covered things such as filing 2290 paperwork, tags, permits, use of company car certifying your cali compliant.

Used to be a time the failure rate/turnover rate on choice was minimal.

We used to be able to book freight and unbook freight ( with proper notice ).

There once was a time you could actually make an informed decision about a load going somewhere by looking ahead and seeing said freight market then make a decision to book it or not.

Once was a time Box planners couldn't assign you ANYTHING.

BUT IT'S STILL AN OK PROGRAM!
