Fob is gone and yes I was noticing this trend a year ago. I think I posted it in one of the forums here and was told I was wrong.

####, I guess I got lucky. That sucks

I remember that company- I was weary about using them with a Poor Credit score -This was years ago- And No Bond to file on- They were I think 45-50 DTP like 5 years ago- Glad I never moved anything for them
Eldo Thanks this. -
I only moved one that was still outstanding. I called the shipper and they have been kind of mixed about it.
They first acted like they would pay think they called the former agent and he told them they weren't liable.
I then told the agent knew for a few months that the carriers getting paid was problematic.
So if I file suit I'm going after the agent, shipper and possibly the consignee. I told the salesman they were negligent in not checking to make sure fob was paying the carriers. -
If you have to finance your Tags/License Plates maybe that's the brokers fault to, Please remember spot market/operating cost/lanes run and your business skills are the name of the game, I am a broker I shipped a satellite antenna on a step deck 16' deck space 6000 # the load gross was 5400 I paid the carrier 67% of the gross 3618 2213 miles FL to AZ he was extremely happy with the rate so what difference does it make what I kept for profit
-
The question was about broker payment delinquencies.
But since you posted I couldn't see a person being extremely happy with a 1.10 @ mile .
What you make is what you make and anyone dumb enough to haul for 1.10 a mile is probably beyond telling them you're screwing them at 33%. I would imagine if you caught on fire there would be a real short line of people to put you out. And people wonder why there is so many service failures? Price, quality and service, pick two ? -
I don't know where you got that from this thread. Are you confused?
