Anyone on here pulling intermodal out of Chambersburg? Schneider is advertising up to 75k. Just curious on what you guys are making doing it. Also looking for general info. A buddy of mine had an interview with them a few months ago and says what they are advertising doesn't even come close to the pay he was told.

Tell them to put it in writing. See how fast they back down. I see lots of ads on craigslist these days for regional and even daycab jobs offering 70 to 80 thousand a year...... I wasn't born yesterday.

Definitely see what you mean. There are a ton of sketchy ads out there. I seen this one on Indeed. Looking for something better than I'm doing now. There isn't really any room for growth. Also trying to stay local home every night.

The two times that I've spent the night at the Chambersburg intermodal yard I've spoken to some intermodal company drivers...

One driver was working the overnight shift and claimed to be bringing home $1400 + per week...

The other driver worked during the day and made less...

I would suggest if you live within driving distance of Chambersburg go over to the yard and speak to the people there. There's office staff in during the day and drivers are always coming and going. There's no gate and no guard...

    Roll on...

I live about 20 miles or so from Chambersburg. So it wouldn't be hard to swing over that eay and talk to a few drivers and staff. And the over night is what I'm looking at and prefer to do.

I figure experience plays somewhat of a factor. I only have 2 years under my belt but don't wanna jump ships for less than what I'm making now.

$75K IF you run hwy speed a full 11hrs drive time a day, everything goes perfect at the rails & costumers, it never snows during that year, or rains, or you get stuck in traffic, you are also earning the full bonus pay........

Then maybe, just maybe you might have a chance to see that $75K
