Anyone know of any companies that may take O/O with 2 years driving experience doing LTL with no car hauling experience? I live in Nj.

Honestly check craigslist and indeed to start.
For possible better carriers check out Jack Cooper, United Road, Percision Motor group (or whatever). There are a few I'm missing that I see out of newark. -
Wait, I didn't see the o/o part. United wants 10 cars the last I checked and need guys with car hauling experience. Cooper may take you.
The trash gig isn't as advertised? -
Thanks for the reply
I'm fading away from the trash as one of my friends did before
He said the truck will be beat to death and sometimes waiting to be filled up at transfer station and landfills is not fun especially since no detention pay. I'm looking at other options like piers/intermodal/maybe car hauling Etc etc
Something that will net me 2k/week ideally -
I did some research before posting but most want at least 6months experience.

Try dana for tanks.
Horo for flatbed
George Hilderbandt for flatbed- good hometime apparentlyDesiTrucker Thanks this. -
Try Fleet car and Supreme in Newark.
DesiTrucker and Terry270 Thank this. -
Most companies will hire you as a company driver with 2 years of driving experience if they need help. In the Jersey area try Jack Cooper or Cassens. Neither has owner ops, but you don't want to be a carhaul owner op until you have a couple years experience i.e. (tearing stuff up) as a company driver. There is way more to this profession than it appears. Therefore trying to learn to be a carhauler and owner op at the same time would break most people. That said I love being a carhaul owner op, but I am glad I went the company driver route first.DesiTrucker, Tropsnart and Terry270 Thank this.

Precision Motor Transport may take you as a newbie hauler OO with 2 years trucking xp. You would need your own trailer though, 7 car minimum last I checked. Haul mostly high end cars though, which is reason I recommend driving company for a bit, insurance deductible per car can eat profits quick if you tear them up.
DesiTrucker Thanks this.
