The only way to make 141k at epes is being a owener op on percentage . There is no companey drivers making 141 k a year .

In his defense , he was saying he ran 141k miles that year , not that he made 141k . I think . Sorry for any confusion.

They have meds for that... Anyone reading this thread , Epes is a good company , at least while I was there. They have their issues. Certain people playing games , making me feel disrespected is way I left. Even thou I left , will be fair.

Lol! EPES just offered my that Statesville dedicated. But they were going to pay me .39 cpm and only $10 per stop. I figured it to be to low and turned that one down. They then offered me a OTR position starting at .39 cpm, a extra .10 cpm in the NE. I have 4 years OTR experience and a clean record. Have been making .46 cpm.

Was figuring they were low balling me. Is it normal for someone with my experience to start so low? I have a app in with another Compnay out of TN starting at .48 cpm. Looks like I'll be chasing that one better?

Thanks for the heads up. However, I refuse to deal with Hazmat.

I had a buddy at Epps. He leased his truck on and they still governed it. That may have changed, but at .94cpm, why would you want to haul for them anyway? Did they make some big change in their owner op pay?

Epps is huge. They also own Texas Star express. Not as big as JB, but at least 500 trucks.
