you can only count the actual hours your doing what ever it is you looking to be proficient at. If you only wait an average of 8 hours a day at the dock, then it would take 1250 blocks of 8 hours to make the 10000 hours needed to be considered proficient.

Not enough. Too many tasks don't repeat, because of conditions. Besides, exactly what is an "expert?" Someone who never makes a mistake? Someone who always makes the right choice? Someone who knows everything there is to know about the tasks? Best
