If they are flatbed why do they mainly run the foreign country you call northeast?
So they only run 8 to 9 months a year?

Nope we run 12 months a year they have contracts with alot of places around that area
-
So you put drivers at risk in the snow and ice trying to tarp, or tie down freight.
That makes no sense.
A company should put their drivers as their first priorities.Fleet1 Thanks this. -
... and how exactly do you intend they change that? Where do you not get snow or ice? It's called use your brain it isn't that difficult. If you can't stand on the deck of a trailer with a little snow you probably shouldn't be flatbed.
-
If a driver falls off the deck cause of snow or ice will they get workman's comp?
And if they get workman's comp how much is it a week? -
TOTALLY AGREE....DRIVERS SHOULD ALSO PUT SAFETY FIRST! I just don't get why that's so hard to get. I own a fleet of trucks and would never consider risking my drivers health for a dollar. When you get hurt it sucks bad financially, physically and emotionally. I keep my drivers behind the wheel and no where else...just sayinLast edited: Jul 24, 2016
BigBlueMarine99 Thanks this. -
I'd love to see you do that being a flatbed company.
-
You don't get snow or ice sitting at home on a night comfy couch.
I go home from Halloween to March 1st every year.
Why? Cause in Nov DEC Jan and Feb freight drops so low that the companies aren't even making enough to keep fuel in the trucks. I'm not out here to help brokers stay rich, etc while my bills aren't being met and my truck is starving. -
And how does this affect me as a company driver?

You still drive for barber ?
