They were mis marked before. You could get under over 16 feet. The left side was higher too. The one thing I'm wondering is how tall is the covered bridge by the barrier sawmill. I wonder if thats over 18 feet because all that work North would be a waste if it isn't and it's not marked lol

IIRC Tête Jaune was marked 4.8m so at least they played it safe. Barriere I'm not so sure of. I think a few loggers have clipped it empty with their trailers up because their stakes popped free and flipped up on the trailer.

    nate980 Thanks this.

Got to the yard and seen one truck beat me back, parked beside it and seen the driver sleeping. So I decided to shop amazon and order a new headset and seen this card game for y'all.

This is the press that we had to hurry up and get Tues. as the riggers were leaving for another job.. Kinda like it when the first trk. bails on the customer and you can then kinda name your price within reason
Now the fun thing about tarping this bad boy was first no forklift or ladder to get on top.. Then about center of the press it's all open area. for about 5 feet. Try sliding across the rams in the machine and they have been greased to prevent them from sticking on the slide motion

Yup, that's exactly what they did...so for the inexperienced question of the day, why? Why not just keep me on I-5 up via Sacramento instead of what appears to be through a much more densely populated area...with a curfew?

Hammer, I just took a look at the weekly annual permit holders restrictions & I see some temporary? weight limits on 5 between Stockton & Sac.

As @truckdad said, only the weight restrictions are semi permamant, I think. Makes it almost impossible to haul big load through Sacramento. Also, you will have a bridge toll on 680, less than $100. They provide an escort for you across the bridge as well. It will be a little tight betting through the toll area.
