I don't like the taste of the chewables. I just swallow em just like the capsule ones.

  3. Without getting sidetracked and going off about western vs. eastern medicine. Congrats to all of you willing to try the natural stuff. I've posted it in a few different threads, but Reishi mushroom is a very effective tool for this also. There is no telling what the side effects of all of these prescriptions will be long-term.

Another thing I'm finding with the chewables is that they DO NOT work nearly as well as the capsules.

I agree fully. We as a nation have become too dependent on drugs to "fix" what is "wrong" with us. It has been said in post above, but we have no one to blame but ourselves for the way that we are today, be it diet or lifestyle. I know that this will get flack, but I remember when you just had to be an adult and deal with your problems like a grown-up and not depend on a magic pill to make you "feel" better or make you nicer. Eat better, exercise more, get enough sleep and take care of your body and you will feel a whole lot better.
Pills are not the answer for everything, when I was a child, I was called hyperactive, because I was always on the go and couldnt sit still. Now a days they say the kids have ADD or ADHD and their solution is to perscribe them meds to calm them down. Well excuse me, that is druging our kids and getting them "stoned" to a point of not wanting to do anything. Use too, if you were depressed, you went out and had a drink, plus you had two weeks of vacation that you took to relax and not worry about work or problems. Now a days, you have clinical depression and need meds to make the world seem better to you. But the problem is that people now a days take work too seriously and dont leave the work problems at work. Plus very few people can afford to take vacations anymore and now both parents have to work to make ends meet. This is the real problem, you can call it progress or what ever, but life was better, easier and safer in days gone bye......AAAAAHHHHH, OK deep breath, the rant is over. I try and take very little medication, but I do take some. Asprin for headaches and aches & pains, a multivitamin, because todays food doesnt have the nutiants that it us too and fish oil pills because I dont get to eat as much fish I should or would like too, it is good for your triglyceride levels. Well, this could go on and become a different thread, so I will stop here. I will leave you with this, nature is just that, natural. When ever you can natural is best. The same is true about food.:biggrin_25520:
