some people only last 1 yr, some last 40 yrs..some never make it to retirement..if its invested correctly and they manage the money right it works. part of the problem is they are paying these crooks 700k/yr to manage a bankrupt pension while hoffa is the head of the union, who knows where the money has gone over the years.. not to mention congress who hasnt funded the pension benefit guarantee fund.

so its due to be insolvent (no money) by 2025 is the current estimate currently as there are no cuts and no extra income and no plans to change anything.

 

I have always been pro-union where the company really sticks it to the workers *cough* most trucking companies with the exception of smaller ones who pay and treat drivers right like where I work. I have to be making at least 1300 bottom dollar or it is not worth my time but I get what you are saying and heck no social security will not be around in even say another 20 years...

Did the interview, phone interview , received onboard email, conditional offer, drug test and now I received a email today of a third party private company called " Verified Person " to do my background? How long does that take and whats next? Getting on here in Phoenix , Az.

 

Shouldn't take more than a week or two
