    I posted a thread asking why in the late 60s did they need to come out with huge radiators to handle the "big power" when we have engines with hundreds more horsepower, and we're getting it done in aero trucks. I must have glossed over your post back then.

    Two things to think about: today's engines run hotter, giving more heat rejection for a given size radiator. And thru various improvements in cooling and combustion efficiency, engines now (well, prior to egr, anyway) generate less waste heat per hp.
