I know it gets hot in those trailers unloading Dollar store freight, what about hazmat suits for tankers, does Schneider have them? They say 2/3 are non hazmat and I imagine you only need the suits for a few specific loads.....

Chemical suits are fairly rare but they are pure torture. Especially in the summer.

Dare to be different, buddy. Dare to be different.
speedyrob Thanks this. -
My friend does Schneider tank division. Lost his house because he only brought home 500 a week. Don't work for a mega carrierherring22 Thanks this.

I am a little concerned reading Thulls thread, he had some delays getting a few loads. Keeping my eye on it.

I just talked to a nice fellow, let's just say he had an accent similar to the people on the computer help lines(India), who has been with Schneider for 1 year. They then leased him a brand new Cascadia fully decked out for tanker, pumps, hoses etc. He is committed for 3 years, then he can either turn it in or buy it. He of course had no previous tanker experience.
If this is what you are competing with I am afraid that economics are going to be tough. -
Have you looked at A&R Logistics? Don't need chem suits there.

I have applied to AR and looks like they are processing my app but also have read some threads about slow downs and buyouts by an investment group, was thinking about calling them. Do you have any current information on how drivers are doing there?
