PRIME Drivers... What's your 20? (2)

My California load from hell. I picked up unit at the yard which was heading to California. It was a 4 drop load all 4 on Sunday. Made it to the central California 3am 1st drop location and they off loaded 1 pallet. The next location was an hour away in South bay area of San Francisco. 2nd location was a small tight yard but they off loaded all 5 pallets. 3rd drop in the same area was a fcfs location but they off loaded with in 2 hours. By this time it was 11am local and only 1 drop remain. At the 4th location, business was closed and didn’t open till Monday am. This was now about 11am and now decide where to park? The closest truck stop was either south 60 miles in Salina California or 70 miles east to Ripon California. That northern California sf Bay area for you. Then there were some motels which were very close by but I opted to stay at a truck friendly hotel which was 5 miles from the 4th location.
On Monday, I go to the 4th drop location and they were still closed but my Fm said they were open and could off load now. Also, we found out that the 1st drop location didn’t offload all there items. I had to inspect the load and found the shipper loaded 2 pallets for the 1st location In the dead center of the unit.
Currently at the 1st drop location waiting for the shipper to send new bols to me so the 1st drop people can off load there 2 missing pieces. Yeah they that strict about a mess that they caused by not paying attention to what they needed to offload.
Also, I still have the freight for the final drop still in the unit as well. Sounds like I will have to relocate it to socal after I get done with the 1st drop people.
So much for a 3 day easy load.

Thought so.. To me, just saying "the scalehouse" an I instantly think of that place... At least they have a place there for us to park though.
