Anyone have the skinny on In & Out Burger

Ya but at a fraction of the cost of Five guys.

IMO Five guys is highway robbery with the prices they charge.

 

In n out and five guys are not the same. Five guys is a lot greaser and you can add things to your burgers, in n out its just sauce lettuce tomatoes and onions. Five guys seasons their fries, in n out they cut the potato, fry it and add salt.

Itd be like saying in n out and white castle are the same

 

Ate there once, was ####ting green for a few days.

 

Real french fries are cooked in lard.

You just made me consider driving 558 miles for a burger.

Maybe I'll just wait until next time I visit family in New York. Gotta check out Shake Shack; I've heard good things.

 

Theres a shack at the mall of America here, the wait is like 25 mins just to order, must be good. I'll never know, dont have that kind of patience for a burger....

 

Did I mention shake shack serves beer, mixed drinks, and liquor infused milk shakes? That's what put it over the top of the burger chain list for me

 

I may have just found some patience....

 

I've been to two of them, one in SF in Anchorage square and the other in SD. Or national city. Whatever it is, around SD. Both times were good, but nowhere near "best fast food ever" that all my west coast buddies rave about.

 

Charlie Beinlichs makes the best burger. Plus you can get shrimp ####tail if you like and they have Grainbelt on tap. When's the last time you saw grainbelt on tap outside of Minnesota????
