lastnight while at a Rest area someone stuffed a rag inside my blow by tube. I cranked it this morning, ran inside to use the bathroom and when I came out there was a puddle of oil under my truck. It was only running for about 5min at most. Did it do any permanent damage to my engine? What should I look for. If I ever catch the POS who did this I'll be in jail. Please help me with any info thank you

Crankcase pressure has to go somewhere. Easiest place is generally a seal. Douche off the bottom end if it's not obvious where it was leaking and keep an eye on it . My guess is front seal, maybe cover gasket. Wouldn't hurt to snug up the pan bolts next PM.

Ok thank you will do. I appreciate it

It was coming out of the top, somewhere on the bottom end of it. Looked around the oil pan and saw no signs of a blown pan gasket.

Don't know which engine..does the blow tube come out there?
PacManTrap Thanks this. -
I meant it wasn't coming out of the top. It's a 2002 c-12. Freshly overhauled less than 3k miles on it. Blow by tube runs in to the top on the drivers side

Exwife had one.

It never fails to impress me on how many scum bags there are out in this world that would do this.
PacManTrap Thanks this. -
Do you remember upsetting anyone? That is ridiculous.
PacManTrap Thanks this. -
Hopefully it pushed the oil out of the dipstick.
PacManTrap Thanks this.
