huge red flag though you put a seal on the bill box.Friday Thanks this. -
Last time I was picking up a relay at Weil wrecker someone went down the line and had broken every seal on every trailer. Looking for an empty I guess. Left broken seals hanging from the latches. Thankfully my load was just paper scrap that had a sni seal and was going for a live unload, but I feel for the guys that were picking up the trailers with broken customer seals...
Some people are just ####### and deserve it. If I'd known who it was I would have called in on them so fast.. -

Can't you read the sign man?

An ages old trick employed by drivers at all the companies I drove for. Not a problem in SNI Bulk division though. All trailers are assigned for each dispatch.
Many drivers do this when going home, hoping to have "their" empty waiting for them when they went back out. I would always ask for a list of empties when they all had tags, so I knew which seals I could break.
If you ever plan on using this trick, at least get some good seals from a customer (bolt seals are best). Drivers are less likely to break those. I only used this technique when in for service, never home time, that's just rude.
