Those of you looking to come on please be prepared best you can. After orientation you SHOULD get a truck but remember I waited a week for one last year and some are now. So be prepared financially incase that happens to you. I think it's BS and I don't agree with it, but hey what do I know I only work here lol.
Be prepared to make solid business decisions, and be out of your comfort zone. I HATE ladders, and heights. But a 13'6" load won't stop me from taking a load of the money is right. Only take the fuel you need and try not to take advances. Malone will get their money just as fast as they hand it out I promise that. That being said they are willing to help a hard working, revenue generating driver out.
To those new to flatbed (I've only did this since I started here.) stay hydrated, it's hot, you don't want to lose your balance or concentration while standing on your trailer dodging chains, straps, tarps trying to secure your load. And for freaking sake save your cell phone for when your driving. Let's be professional at our customers and be about our job and get in an off to the next one.
Everyone asks me, YES flat bedding was easy for me to pick up. Tetris is all you play all day. If you think it needs a strap put it there, over chain, over strap and always use edge protection. I spend more time walking around my trailer than anyone out here lol. Because we are on E logs time is important but don't let that stupid computer prevent you from doing your job safe. Malone works for me I love it here.

Any other Vegas tips for parking etc?drvrtech77 Thanks this. -
I'll give you a run for the title on walking around the trailer. Lol
I seldom do anything fast. It's my time and my life. I'll take as much time as I please. Spent too many years being rushed and im not doing it anymore. I rarely even drive faster than about 62, and my truck isn't governed.skinnytrucker, 410TruckGrinder, playamwj12 and 2 others Thank this. -
Well I'm at orientation. I hope everyone is doing well.
Lonesome Thanks this. -
You guys that are taking $1.10/m out of Chicago need to stop it immediately. I really don't care how much you run for but I get annoyed when an agent calls and offers me that crap.
skinnytrucker and TruckerNerd Thank this. -

Next load 10,000 pounds $1024 to truck 799 miles. Puts me into a area where I can get my good weekend loads. Happy about it no? Willing to deal with it this time? Yes
TruckerNerd, Lonesome and d_bassguy79 Thank this. -
Interesting load, delivered inside the target center. $1182 on about 260 miles with deadhead included, love me some high value loads. Very tight getting in and out of there tho
