True. Our society relies so much on it though for anything lending related. I wonder what they would offer me

I will gladly show you what I got as soon as I get it. Naturally I don't want to screw up my deal before I get it by posting specifics on an open forum. Does that make sense?

Do you know if that Cascadia is like the other company specd ones SFI offers, or is it a "premium" truck with some amenities in it?

I don't know what a premuim truck includes so I can't really answer your question. It is a 17 Cascadia with auto transmission, DD15, Tripac APU, thats about all I know, or really care about to be honest.

Every single driver on this fourm that has posted about their truck and that I've talked to got the EXACT same down payment amount.
It goes by the truck and new/used.

It has always been a set down payment amount and doesn't change from driver to driver.
So either what was said is BS or their entire program policy has just changed and nobody else knows about it.

SFI Cascadia is exactly as a company truck minus the governor plus an APU.

but it usually means they got the brains to do so, it is a good indicator of decision making skills. bad decisions equal a bad credit score. you make better decisions , you end up in better places. it is a good indicator

They usually have a stripped gauge package, no trolley brake, no air dump and baseline seats. Someone had posted earlier in the thread that they were now offering "premium" Cascadias, but didn't post specifics. Just wondering if you knew.

I hear you, and I really don't know if the program has changed or if I just got a great deal. All I know is what I negotiated. Beyond that I can't really speculate but I get your point.

My credit was the last thing SFI was interested in when i spoke to them.
They were mainly interested in how I planned to run my operation and what my expectations were. Also what my bills were.
They flat out told me they look more at your living expenses more than your credit.
