Hey guys I'm new to the forum. I have a difficult time choosing between two companies. Currently, I have a year of experience as a delivery driver (Dollar General). Live near the zip code of 93101.

I haven't submitted an application to both companies but I did an extensive research (Indeed,Glassdoor,Thetruckersreport). Interstate got the award for the best fleets to drive for 2016. KKW trucking have the best overall ranking for employment satisfaction. For former or current drivers, what is your advice or recommendations I should work for? I'll provide additional details if needed.

Talk to them both. See what they have to offer. What works for one driver, doesn't work for another...

I was looking into kkw trucking myself. Spoke to recruiter and they are paying .41 cents a mile, western regional, volvo and kenworth automatic trucks, peoplenet.

What turned me off was the insurance cost. 80 dollars a week for single coverage. Family coverage probably cost alot more.

To be honest, thats some really low pay for 1 year experience.
You should be making at least 40 cents a mile...which is still not enough.

Ive never worked for these companies before. Give them a call and talk to the recruiter to get a feel for them.
