I had looked at Hoover, $7500 flat rate labor but odds n ends brings it to $26.5 I think on a Pete. Which if the base is in the $90-100 ballpark guess it ain't so bad..Superhauler Thanks this.

Well not bigger but I've heard of guys taking a 3406 block and using acert motor parts and making good power with them. Maybe @superhauler could give us some more insite??

There is a glider shop in NE that specializes in Cat powered gliders and they were selling a complete factory reman 6NZ for around $40k if I remember right.

A rolling 389 with platinum interior and 3.55 rears goes for $75k here at the local peterbilt dealer in ID.
