Sitting still and after a brake application disconnect the blue glandhand from the trailer if air comes out and the brakes are now released it's not in the trailer. The tractor protection valve has either a quick release valve built in or has one between it and where the blue hose attaches to it.
Take a picture of the tractor protection valve. We have also had this happen with a faulty mv3 valve. Quickrelease valve is cheap and easy to replace -
Anyone know how I get the part numbers so I can search for these parts? Is there a list somewhere online i can put in my year and model truck? I need a Foot brake valve, mv3 valve, right side air tank, trailer hand valve. International won't tell me the part numbers because they don't want me going and getting them 70% cheaper somewhere else. They told me $450 for my surge tank, I bought it from bigmachineparts.com for $180. Anyway, just gonna replace all of it and get it over with.

All these parts are off the shelve. Just walk into Fleet Pride and they have it.

Off road use only, When leaving my trailer brakes were locked. After checking things out, somehow air was running in the blue line. a .25 cent quarter between the glad hands got me to the shop. Notice I did not say anything about driving on public roads, This classified as any port in a storm.

What's the difference in these MV3 dash valves? I have a bendix with 3/8 fittings. I know some of the plates are different sizes, but I can change my plate if need be for the dash screws. My problem is, there are about 20 different dash valves, and they all have different part numbers. Is there a way to screw this up? Or am I just over thinking something simple? Just don't want to buy the wrong one. Ive taken pics of mine out of the dash, and everything on it looks the same as the other 20 that are all different prices and part numbers... except maybe fitting size and screw hole size on plates..the part numbers on my valve dont match any part numbers I find. When I call to order one, they ask me the part number which doesn't work. Are these things universal?
