Yes indeed man. I had that Costco today, In and out of the station in 28 minutes from the time I pulled in until the time I left the parking lot. And that was accounting for slight delays! Two idiots were about to murder each other in a fit of road rage at the fuel island, which looked like the toll booth to the San Francisco Bay Bridge on a weekday morning. They sold like 800 gallons in 30 minutes.

Locks on the porter johns huh Cali kid... I'm about done with this industry if these are my "peers". Amazing how something so insignificant made me reevaluate my life. Let's see how a boycott of LAT goes over with my company. I'm not in ####ing prison and I'm not a 3rd grader.
Cali kid Thanks this. -
Didn't hear about that that's why I keep my butt at KM. I tell you what be thankful that's your only problem alot of our drivers are pissed right now.plant Thanks this.

Sorry to hear that. I don't know what happened to the toilets, all I know is that I now have to sign out for a key at the tech office. Or should I say, drivers who continue to load out of LAT will need to sign out for a key. Maybe they can use the sign out chart to match the handwriting with all the graffiti written in Spanish on the walls of the stalls. Just saying. Guess I need to go get carded at KM carson to pull your loads out of there.

That's BS, it sucks how it always the few that ruin it for everyone.plant Thanks this.

For sure. And like you alluded to, this is not the end of the world. But I can tell you that it made me feel like #### being treated like a kindergartner. There are a lot of great people, but also a lot of very low quality individuals in this trade, and being associated with them gave me a "what the hell am I doing with my life" moment for the rest of the day. I've been concerned about some other work related stuff lately too and maybe this was just the straw that broke the camels back. Luckily I have the next 3 days off to reset, we'll see.

I hear ya alot of the new guys we have hired make me very concerned as well as management's new game plan.
plant Thanks this. -
Exactly. At least you still have the union though.
Cali kid Thanks this. -
Don't give up. You know by now there's plenty of ups and downs with the business. You're needed to show an example so the idiots might someday realize that hauling gasoline is not just a driving job. You guys are getting rare and desperately needed. You may not see your influence on others but it's there.
