New truck (to me) with issues

Is the parking brake switch/sensor normally open or normally closed.
Can I just put a jumper wire between the two terminals on the plug temporarily ?

 

ya but then the truck is going to think its always with no parking brake and that's a ##### cuz i'ts beeping constantly

 

Doesn't matter if he is Ok with original deal,,, I bought a 2004 Kent for 2K; previous owner kept blowing head gasket, (single gasket for each head). I replaced and keep her under 1800 RPM and it has been 6 months now since I changed gasket. Had to change sync gear in tranny for splicer,, so all in all 10K. I use her for hauling manure on the weekends when I don' t work.
