Lol, I just found the listing.
http://www.commercialtrucktrader.com/listing/2009-Peterbilt-386--118013599kw600 and Made_In_Haiti Thank this. -
You'll be paying off a truck for four years that'll need at least $15,000 (I honestly have no idea what a newer Cummins costs for an inframe) for a rebuild in one.
Not a good buy at all. What are you planning on running with it, van/reefer?Made_In_Haiti Thanks this. -
reefer if I can get on with a good company however flatbed if I get on with Landstar or Mercer

Here are some better options:
http://www.commercialtrucktrader.com/listing/2004-Freightliner-Century-Class--117436197
Fresh rebuild, $10,000 cheaper, warranty, better motor.
http://www.commercialtrucktrader.com/listing/2005-Volvo-Vnl--117374431
Rebuilt motor, $10K cheaper, warranty.
And hey, all the good deals on older trucks seem to be at the "World of Trucks" in Miami. And they seem to rebuild anything 2006 and older before selling it. If they are a reputable dealer, I'd say take a look. And now I understand how hard it is to find a good truck that's older... even the 'Shakers are hard to find, and they are all van pullers.Made_In_Haiti Thanks this. -
How many years experience do you have?
