I've been off the road for almost two years, still nothing beats sleeping in an idling truck.

Idling trucks don't bother me, the reefer unit and Apu drown them out lol.

I have to agree on sleeping better on the road. I found pulling into a spot was a little better because the reefers and engines are
up front, but backing out.........sometimes funny

I used to sleep just fine on the road but over the years I have developed such a reputation with the ladies that it is hard to find enough time for actual sleep.

Wait, that was a dream I had.

I just took a few days at home and my wife says i tossed and turned all night, In my rig My watch says I never move. I do have a tendency to jump up when My reefer shuts off and it is not supposed to :) or the airbags drop out from the cold etc. but I sleep way better in my rig then at home. I have a temperpedic mattresses in my truck and it is awesome.

First few nights at home it's impossible to sleep. I start prowling. It's crazy. Get to the tractor, crank it and get that detriot rattle. Poof sleepy!
